ABOUT THE PROJECT

Smell is a dance theatre piece created by Lyra Butler-Denman in collaboration with Danielle Reed and Monel, the only independent research institute dedicated to the scientific understanding of taste and smell. The piece explores smell and memory, longing, and delight as well as the impact of smell loss on memory loss and memory loss on smell.
